Nebraska minus second-leading scorer, top rebounder vs. Iowa women's basketball

1 week ago 2

Iowa women's basketball (11-2, 2-0 Big Ten) opens 2026 by hosting rival Nebraska (12-1, 1-1 Big Ten). The 14th-ranked Hawkeyes will once again do so minus sophomore wing Emely Rodriguez, who continues to battle a back injury.

Iowa could be without one of its starting guards again, too. Graduate senior Kylie Feuerbach missed Iowa's 99-76 win over Penn State with an ankle injury. Feuerbach was listed as questionable on that game day availability report versus the Nittany Lions and Feuerbach is listed as questionable again against the Huskers.

Nebraska will be without one of its key cogs as well. Sophomore forward Amiah Hargrove, who is Nebraska's second-leading scorer (12.0 points per game) and its top rebounder (6.4 rebounds per game), is listed as out for the Huskers.

Iowa tips off against Nebraska at 1 p.m. CT from inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The Hawkeyes have won 11 of the past 13 meetings against the Huskers.
