Sick season is in full effect, and the New England Patriots haven't been able to evade it ahead of the biggest game of the season on Sunday.
According to Patriots coach Mike Vrabel, via Patriots Wire's Sophie Weller, right tackle Morgan Moses, center Garrett Bradbury, offensive tackle Vederian Lowe and linebacker Anfernee Jennings will not be practicing on Wednesday due to illness.

Players missing practice obviously isn't ideal ahead of the slated wild-card playoff game against the Los Angeles Chargers. There might also be a concern that others on the roster could fall ill ahead of the game, especially if a bug is going around in the locker room.
Obviously, the hope is that everyone recovers enough to be 100 percent for the showdown against the Chargers. The Patriots have been playing with a shorthanded roster for multiple weeks due to injuries. They don't want to go into a pivotal playoff matchup under the same circumstances.
There is still plenty of time in between with the game slated for Sunday night. The players and coaches will have from now until then to do everything they can to boost their immune system and mitigate the spread.
