The 2026 NFL Draft will take place in Pittsburgh next April, a city where the Vikings have had success in the past, but hope to carve out new memories by hitting some homeruns along the Allegheny River with their draft picks. Before next April, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup for the team and who they may add to the roster through the draft.
PFF's Max Chadwick recently released the latest 2026 NFL mock draft of the cycle. Within it, the Vikings were attached to Clemson cornerback, Avieon Terrell. The talented defender out of Clemson may be a bit undersized but plays with an edge that would be a welcome addition to the Vikings' secondary.

Chadwick explains the pick, writing, "The Vikings need help in their secondary, particularly at cornerback. That comes here in Terrell, who has posted 80.0-plus PFF grades in each of the last two seasons at Clemson. He’s the younger brother of Falcons corner A.J. Terrell, who was second among all cornerbacks in PFF grade back in the 2021 season."
The bloodlines for Terrell is an added bonus to what already is a promising prospect profile. The team needs a youth infusion in 2026 after the performance of the team in 2025, especially the secondary.
