In the past two seasons, Philadelphia has ranked No. 1 and No. 8 in pass defense.

Parker has helped see the growth and development of defensive backs Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, both of whom were named First-Team All-Pro and Pro Bowl selections in 2025, and was part of an Eagles team that defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX, a game in which DeJean recorded an interception for a 38-yard touchdown against Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Before his time in Philadelphia, Parker spent three seasons with the Denver Broncos (2021-2023), where he coached notable players like Patrick Surtain and Justin Simmons, both of whom received All-Pro honors during his time in the Mile High City.

Parker entered the NFL with the Green Bay Packers as their defensive quality control coach in 2019 and 2020, and had multiple stints as a college football coach with Texas A&M (2018), Notre Dame (2017), Norfolk State (2015–2016), and Virginia State (2013–2014).

Parker becomes the seventh candidate who will interview for the job, joining Aaron Whitecotton, Zach Orr, Jonathan Gannon, Daronte Jones, Jim Leonhard, and Ephraim Banda.
