Michigan State hockey returned to the ice on Sunday afternoon, returning home to Munn Ice Arena after winning the Great Lakes Invitational last week. On Sunday, the Spartans played their annual matchup with the United States National Development Team. In the game, it was a decisive 4-2 win for Michigan State.
Goal scorers for MSU include Austin Baker, Anthony Romani, Cayden Lindstrom and Daniel Russell. Melvin Strahl was between the pipes for the Spartans for the third time this season, getting his third victory.
Michigan State will return to action on Friday, when Big Ten action resumes with the Spartans travelling to Columbus to face off against Ohio State.
