Michigan Football freshman CB Elijah Dotson enters transfer portal

Announced just a few minutes before the transfer portal opened, Michigan true freshman cornerback Elijah Dotson announced his intentions of entering the portal.

The Belleville, Michigan native flipped late in the 2025 recruiting cycle from Pitt to Michigan and signed as the same signing ceremony as his high school teammate, Bryce Underwood.

In 12 games a first-year player in Ann Arbor, Dotson compiled 11 tackles, two pass deflections and one interception.
