LSU football secured the first transfer of the Lane Kiffin era on Sunday. Former Hawai'i wide receiver Jackson Harris committed to the Tigers, per a social media post from On3's Hayes Fawcett.
Per the Rivals Industry Rankings, Harris is the No. 34-ranked wide receiver in the transfer portal and the No. 212 overall prospect. LSU will be Harris's third school. The California native originally signed with Stanford out of high school before transferring to Hawai'i. Now, Harris is taking his talents to the SEC as LSU begins to rebuild its wide receiver room.

Harris caught 49 passes for 963 yards in 2025. That yardage total put Harris No. 2 in the Mountain West. Harris was a big play machine, averaging nearly 20 yards per catch and 2.79 yards per route run.
According to PFF, Harris's offensive grade of 83.2 led all Mountain West wide receivers.
This is a big get for an LSU team that needs a complete overhaul of its wide receiver room. Practically every contributor from LSU's 2025 receiver core entered the transfer portal or declared for the NFL Draft.
Harris will be the first of several wide receiver additions for LSU in the transfer portal.
