Baleba is destined to leave Brighton
According to CaughtOffside, the current feeling on the South coast is that Carlos Baleba will leave Brighton in the next 12 months, be that through a move this January or later at the end of the season.

In their report, it's claimed that Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham and Bayern Munich are all interested in signing the €100m-rated player, who is still highly regarded in spite of his recent form.
Mark Brus heard from his sources on the situation this week and said: "Brighton are fielding multiple enquiries for Baleba this month. There are teams who would ideally bring him in this January, but the message is that that won't be possible. No one realistically expects him to stay beyond the summer, though."
It's later claimed that 'Liverpool's interest could also be something to keep an eye on' as Arne Slot's squad could be 'seen as more tempting' following last season's unexpected Premier League triumph.
From looking at the 22-year-old Cameroon international's profile, it's clear that Ryan Gravenberch could be a problem for him, since they both perform similar roles in their respective teams, and the current speculation over the Dutchman is that Liverpool are looking to offer him a new contract.

In that sense, perhaps this move doesn't make that much sense for the Reds, although Gravenberch's midfield partner Curtis Jones is one of the few workmen that Liverpool haven't offered a new deal to, so the Englishman could make way for Baleba, despite his good form.
Alternatively, the Reds are also interested in Fabian Hurzeler's star winger Yankuba Minteh, who is one of the hopefuls to replace Mohamed Salah when he decides to conclude his Liverpool chapter.
The Seagulls are a club that's littered with outstanding players, and Liverpool could very easily find themselves getting carried away with a number of them. Whether someone like Baleba would be a good fit is yet to be seen, but his talent is clear for all to see. Right now, nothing should be ruled out.
