Lewis Koumas enduring tough Birmingham spell
Koumas, 20, has suffered a season of indifferent form for Birmingham City - involved plenty in the matchday squad but short of starts.
January 4 saw the Wales international make only his FIFTH start of the season for the ambitious Championship outfit. And the versatile forward was among the goalscorers in a hard-fought 3-2 victory for the Blues over high-flying Coventry City.

That is not going to be enough for Koumas to save his Birmingham career however with speculation mounting over a January forward clearout.
Lewis Koumas coming back to Liverpool
“Eiran Cashin and Lewis Koumas are set to return to parent clubs Brighton and Hove Albion and Liverpool respectively,” the report reads.
It adds that the Knighthead-owned outfit are seeking to refresh their attacking options this winter by offloading some of the players already on the books and bringing in several new faces instead.

Koumas, who has played and scored for the Liverpool first team under Jurgen Klopp, is unlikely to survive the cull. He will be back at the AXA Training Ground soon in all probability and fixed up with another loan for the second half of the season.
Last term Koumas had a productive loan spell at Stoke - playing almost 50 times - but has been short of minutes at St. Andrew’s.
