Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars offense are rolling right now, and they have been for some time.
Through the first half of the season, however, that wasn't the case. The turning point for Lawrence, and therefore the offense as a whole, seemed to come during the Jaguars' Week 8 bye.

"At the bye, we just had some honest conversations about, okay, just cut it loose. Let it rip," Liam Coen said on the Pat McAfee Show. "Whatever happens, just play the next play. We just want you to go be aggressive, go be you, and that's going to be plenty good enough, man."
The phrase 'let it rip' doesn't only refer to being hyper-aggressive, but it also tells the quarterback to trust what he sees and not be hesitant.
Since the bye week, Lawrence is completing 62% of his passes and averaging 7.9 yards per pass attempt -- the ninth-highest mark during that span. Lawrence's 14 touchdown passes are also the fourth-most since Week 9.

The Jaguars' offense has scored 30-plus points in five of their last nine games and is averaging almost 32 points in that nine-game stretch.
However, along with Lawrence letting it rip, as the entire Jaguars' offense adjusted to Coen's scheme through the first half of the year, Coen also recognized at the bye week that some tweaks had to be made to ensure that Lawrence was being put in a position to succeed.
"Look, we had to tailor some things," Coen added. "At the bye you're trying to figure out who you are truly. We wanted to make sure we were doing everything we could from a run, pass protections, whatever it was, putting him in a position to be successful. But man, the guy is playing at a high level."
Beyond Lawrence's production, we are watching a quarterback who is in complete control of the offense. That can be seen pre-snap as he makes adjustments based on defensive alignments and his decision-making post-snap.
