After three wins in their last four games, the Los Angeles Lakers will head out for a quick two-game road trip that will have them face the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday and the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday. This should be a challenging trip — the Spurs have the Western Conference's second-best record at 25-10, and while the Pelicans are at the bottom of the conference with an 8-29 record, that contest could be a so-called "trap game."
The Lakers will continue to be short-handed for Tuesday's game. Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura and rookie forward Adou Thiero will not play due to injury, but guard Gabe Vincent, who missed their last eight games due to a back ailment, is listed as questionable.
While many Lakers fans have been frustrated about Vincent's inconsistent outside shooting and lack of offensive production, he is shooting a respectable 36.2% from 3-point range this season. He also gives them a somewhat above-average defender against opposing backcourt players, particularly ball-handling guards, and even someone who can serve as an occasional relief ball handler.

Vincent has appeared in just 14 of a possible 33 games so far this season. He had previously missed 11 games because of an ankle sprain.
