Josh Niblett hired as TE coach

Change is constant at the Champion’s Center for the Colorado Buffaloes. New players, new ADs, new coaches, everything feels new. This time of year is incredibly important for the Buffs, so Coach Prime has continued to retool his staff. The newest tool (for the metaphor, it’s not an insult) in the toolbox is Josh Niblett:

This is an interesting hire that signifies a different philosophy for the Buffs. Niblett is as high school as they come – he has coached at the highest levels in Alabama and Georgia prep football. After two state championship appearances as the coach of Gainesville High School, he is coming to coach tight ends for the Buffs. Tight ends coach is traditionally a recruiting job, so it’s pretty clear what Niblett’s charge is. CU is trying to get in at the highest level of southern prep football, and this is a great in.
