Jordon Davison listed as 'out' on Oregon availability report

The Oregon Ducks have been hit hard by injuries this season, particularly on the offensive side of the ball, but they've managed to play through them thus far, making it all the way to the College Football Playoff semifinals in the Peach Bowl, one win away from a spot in the national championship.

Now, as they prepare for a rematch against the Indiana Hoosiers, it appears that the injury luck is not changing.

According to the Ducks' first availability report ahead of the Peach Bowl, star freshman running back Jordon Davison has been listed as 'out,' throwing his status for the game into question. This comes after rumors have swirled that Davison suffered a broken collarbone in the CFP quarterfinal game against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, but was able to finish the contest with 42 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.

Here is a full look at Oregon and Indiana's availability report as of Tuesday night:

It is also worth noting that other RBs like Da'Jaun Riggs, Makhi Hughes, and Jayden Limar are all listed as 'out' as well, seriously throwing some doubt into Oregon's RB rotation. However, Jay Harris, who has announced his intention to transfer, is not listed as 'out,' like the other transfer portal players are. This could mean that he is available to play. We will see if he travels to the game and arrives in Atlanta with the team on Wednesday.

Should this report stand and Davison miss the game on Friday night, it would put the Ducks in a tough spot at running back in terms of depth. Without Davison, Oregon would only have a pair of healthy scholarship RBs, with Noah Whittington and Dierre Hill. On Tuesday morning, backup running back Jayden Limar announced that he would be entering the transfer portal, joining fellow backup RBs Makhi Hughes and Jay Harris.
