Jonathan Kuminga (back) ruled out vs. Thunder on Friday

The Golden State Warriors' list of players that will miss Friday's contest against the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder only continues to grow.

After Steph Curry, Jimmy Butler, Draymond Green and De'Anthony Melton were ruled out of Friday's game, Jonathan Kuminga is the latest member of the Warriors to appear on the injury report. Kuminga has been ruled out of Friday's game due to lower back soreness.

Prior to being ruled out, reports surfaced that Kuminga was set to return to Golden State's rotation on Friday. Kuminga has received DNP's in nine of the Warriors' last 10 games.

Throughout the season, Kuminga has been the topic of trade chatter following his contract stalemate with the Warriors over the offseason. Kuminga is averaging 11.8 points on 43.1% shooting from the field with 5.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 24.8 minutes per game. Kuminga has not played Dec. 18.

With Kuminga sidelined, the Warriors' already thin rotation just got smaller. The Warriors will need to lean on players like Brandin Podziemski, Moses Moody, Pat Spencer, Gary Payton II and Al Horford on Friday night to hang with the defending champion Thunder.

The Warriors will meet Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder on Friday at 7 p.m. PT.
