The New York Jets and rest of the NFL have one more game to go... whether that be teams vying for playoff positioning and bye weeks in the postseason or those already looking ahead.
The Jets (3-13) are one of those latter teams and they will round out their 2025 schedule in Week 18 against the Buffalo Bills (11-5).

With nothing on the line in New York, "tank" mode is on the mind of fans and has been for weeks. A loss would give the Jets a better top pick at the 2026 NFL draft.
But one thing to note: We already know the Green and White will not land the actual top selection at the upcoming draft.
A quick note before the season finale, with the way Week 17 unfolded, the Jets were already eliminated from contention in terms of landing the No. 1 overall selection.
Entering Sunday, the Jets' best-possible pick at the 2026 draft is No. 3 overall. That is currently the one New York holds as well:
