It's been a busy first half of the 2026 NCAA transfer portal cycle for the Oklahoma Sooners, and they've made some key transfer additions to the roster over the last week. However, OU lost another player to the portal madness on Friday morning.
Redshirt sophomore defensive lineman Siolaa Lolohea is entering the transfer portal, he announced on Friday. Lolohea spent just one year in Norman, and did not see the field as a Sooner. After originally redshirting in his first college season at Oklahoma State in 2023, Lolohea played in eight games at Utah State in 2024, before transferring to OU.

Oklahoma has already added one defensive lineman in the transfer portal, in former UTSA standout Kenny Ozowalu. With seniors R Mason Thomas, Gracen Halton, Damonic Williams and Marvin Jones Jr. all out of eligibility, and the portal exit of Markus Strong to Clemson, there's still work to be done for the Sooners when it comes to building back depth up front. Lolohea was set to be part of that depth in 2026, but instead will be looking for his new team in the portal.
