The Kentucky Wildcats are making a major change to the starting lineup when they host the Missouri Tigers on Wednesday night.
According to KSR’s Jack Pilgrim, junior point guard Jaland Lowe and sophomore big man Jayden Quaintance are entering the starting lineup.

Lowe will replace Denzel Aberdeen as the starting point guard, though Aberdeen will remain a starter and kick shooting guard Collin Chandler to the bench, while Quaintance replaces Malachi Moreno as the starting center.
This change has been brewing for several weeks now, as Quaintance is clearly Kentucky’s best big man and needs to play as much as possible now that he’s getting his conditioning up following a long layoff from ACL surgery.
Meanwhile, Lowe has progressed enough in his recovery from multiple shoulder injuries that he’s now playing starter’s minutes, and he’s far and away Kentucky’s best passer and runs the offense so much more efficiently than anyone else on the roster.
Let’s hope this change sparks a big turnaround for a Wildcats team that needs to find more rhythm if they’re going to thrive in SEC play.
