Indeed, he scored three goals in his first three Serie A appearances under new manager Cristian Chivu.
Furthermore, he bagged a match-winning double in Inter’s opening Champions League clash against Arsenal.
However, the Frenchman’s form has fallen off a cliff after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Thuram suffered a nasty hamstring injury in September’s 3-0 home win over Slavia Prague and had to stay in the pits until November.
Since returning to action, Thuram has only scored three goals in 11 matches between the Champions League and Serie A.
Despite his dip in form, Chivu is likely to pair him up with Lautaro Martinez tonight.
