Inter Milan star Federico Dimarco blasted his side’s poor finishing in last night’s 3-1 home defeat to Arsenal.
Speaking to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the highly rated wingback admitted that the Nerazzurri lacked the cutting edge in front of goal.

What was supposed to be Inter’s chance to redeem themselves for recent ‘big game’ failures turned into another heartbreak.
Indeed, the Gunners saw the San Siro giants off on their own ground, inflicting Inter’s third consecutive Champions League loss.
As a result, Cristian Chivu may have to navigate the dreaded knockout playoffs, with Inter’s top-eight hopes now hanging by a thread.
Furthermore, the Nerazzurri failed to score more than once in a third European outing on the trot.
Despite making 18 shots in total and generating a decent-looking 1.36 xG, Chivu’s side beat David Raya one time.
It’s also worth noting that Inter’s only goal came from a stunning mid-range effort from Petar Sucic.

“We lacked scoring,” Dimarco said after the game. “I think that’s the main thing.
“We faced a strong team both in the Champions League and in the Premier League; it’s a shame.”
Meanwhile, Dimarco confirmed that Inter will do everything to beat Borussia Dortmund in their final league phase fixture.

“We’ll give it everything against Borussia Dortmund,” the 28-year-old added.
“We know. If we don’t manage to go there directly [to the Round of 16], we’ll have to play the playoffs.”
Inter failed to fend off Arsenal’s trademark corner in the 31st minute when Gabriel Jesus restored the visitors’ lead.
“I don’t know how many goals they’ve scored in the last three years under Arteta,” Dimarco admitted. “It’s something they practice and it always works for them.
“There’s not much you can do. We were also unlucky; they hit the crossbar, and it bounced off someone’s head.
“We could have marked better, but the ball moves fast, and it’s hard to react.”
