The Los Angeles Rams have been without several starters lately, including Quentin Lake since he landed on injured reserve in Week 12. The good news is that the Rams are getting reinforcements back in the near future, just in time for their playoff run.
Sean McVay provided updates ahead of Saturday’s wild-card game, sharing the latest on Lake, Davante Adams, Kevin Dotson and Terrance Ferguson. Lake and Adams are expected to play against the Panthers, as is Ferguson; however, Dotson’s availability remains uncertain.

DB Quentin Lake (elbow)
McVay said Lake is expected to play in this weekend’s playoff opener, which has been the plan for weeks. The Rams designated Lake to return from IR last week and he began practicing, but he has not yet been activated to the 53-man roster.
WR Davante Adams (hamstring)
Like Lake, Adams is also expected to be available for Saturday’s game. Adams has missed the last three games with a hamstring injury, which he suffered against the Lions in Week 15.
McVay admits the Rams have played it extra safe with Adams, which has “pissed him off pretty good.”
TE Terrance Ferguson (hamstring)
Ferguson tweaked his hamstring in Friday’s practice and was downgraded to doubtful for the season finale, eventually getting ruled out. Fortunately, it’s not a serious injury and the Rams are hopeful he will be available for the game against the Panthers.
RG Kevin Dotson (ankle)
Dotson injured his ankle in the pivotal Week 16 game against the Seahawks and has been out ever since. McVay said "we'll see what it looks like" with Dotson in terms of this weekend’s game, but it doesn’t sound like he’s anywhere close to certain for the wild-card round.

Justin Dedich has been filling in for Dotson in the meantime.
WR Jordan Whittington (knee) and LB Shaun Dolac (knee)
Whittington and Dolac both injured their knee in Sunday’s win over the Cardinals. McVay said they were the only two injury question marks coming out of the game and it’s unclear whether they will play against the Panthers. McVay didn’t have an update on either player, who are core special teamers.
