ST. LOUIS — All of the eyes in figure skating are on the 2026 U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

The last U.S. event before the 2026 Winter Olympics begins on Wednesday, Jan. 7 as American skaters try to solidify their spot on Team USA. Kicking off the action will be the pairs and women as they'll perform their short programs. The main storyline of the day will be the battle between Olympians hopefuls Alysa Liu and Amber Glenn for the title, as Glenn is the two-time defending champion and Liu came just a few points away from winning it in 2025. Also one thing to watch will be who can claim the third and last spot on the women's Olympic team.
