Barry Kramer

November 10, 1942 - January 4, 2025 (aged 82)

Played one season with the Warriors and Knicks, and another in the ABA with the Nets. He was also a jurist and attorney.

Gus Williams

October 10, 1953 - January 15, 2025 (aged 71)

NBA champion in 1979 with the Seattle SuperSonics. Two-time All-Star.

George Kalinsky

April 14, 1936 - January 16, 2025 (aged 88)

Official photographer for Madison Square Garden from 1966 until his death.

Harold Katz

May 5, 1937 - January 25, 2025 (aged 87)

Philadelphia 76ers owner from 1981 until 1996.

John Shumate

April 6, 1952 - February 3, 2025 (aged 72)

Gary Phillips

NBA champion in 1962 with the Boston Celtics, then played four seasons with the San Francisco Warriors.

Junior Bridgeman

Oliver Miller

June 25, 1966 - September 30, 2024 (aged 58)

Hall of Famer, four-time Defensive Player of the Year, three-time blocks leader, two-time rebounding leader, and eight-time All-Star.

Two-time NBA champion with the New York Knicks (1971 and 1973), All-Star in 1968.

Frank Layden
