Girls basketball: Bellbrook defeats Lebanon to snap two-game losing skid

Dec. 30—BELLBROOK — A pair of losses disrupted Bellbrook's perfect start to the season.

The Golden Eagles saw its nine-game undefeated run end when Wayne hit two free throws in the final seconds of its 62-61 win on Dec. 22. Mount Notre Dame staved off an overtime challenge by a 67-63 score on Saturday as part of the Holiday Classic in Cincinnati to make it back-to-back defeats for Bellbrook.

"I think it kind of lit a fire under us because that's not who Bellbrook is. We don't lose like that," junior Lauren Fabrick said.
