The New York Giants have a lot of key players available Sunday even though they could still be tanking for draft position.

But one key offensive contributor, Theo Johnson, is out. He's on the injury report as unavailable due to an illness.

That's all well and good. Plenty of NFL players have been dealing with illnesses in recent weeks. It's that time of year.

Except, well, Johnson also popped out to sit courtside for the New York Knicks' game on Friday night.

Doesn't seem all that sick.

The Giants also will be missing Wan'Dale Robinson for Sunday's game against the Cowboys with a rib injury.

New York has Jaxson Dart playing, but they've got him out there with his top offensive weapons, which is a bit of an inconsistent plan. That suggests there's at least some truth to the guys on the injury report.

But there's certainly a bit of a disconnect that Johnson is feeling just fine to go watch hoops but won't be playing on Sunday.

Giants fans probably don't even mind. They'll take the best draft pick they can get. And Johnson will just watch the final game of the season from the sideline, not unlike what he did Friday night at MSG.
