The transfer portal is in full swing for the Oklahoma Sooners, and we're tracking all of the departures and arrivals that are set to happen over the next couple of weeks. Early on in the process, it looks like a former OU player has found a new home, and he's headed to the Big 12 Conference.
Defensive back Devon Jordan has committed to play for the Baylor Bears, after spending two seasons in Norman. He was a member of OU's 2024 recruiting class, and he was a big part of the rotation at cornerback for the Sooners in 2025.

Jordan registered 16 total tackles and had two tackles for loss for an excellent Oklahoma defense. His biggest play came on a gigantic third-down sack of Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson on a cornerback blitz in the fourth quarter of OU's win over the Crimson Tide in the regular season.
Despite the Sooners expecting to return starters Eli Bowen and Courtland Guillory at the CB spots in 2026, the portal exits of Jordan, Gentry Williams, Kendel Dolby, and Maliek Hawkins have thinned the depth at that position. With Jacobe Johnson also expected to return, Oklahoma will be looking to add a key rotational cornerback or two in the transfer portal ahead of next year.
As for Jordan, he'll be headed to Waco to compete in the Big 12, and he'll look to win a starting job at cornerback with the Bears.
