The 2025 NFL season has officially come to an end for the Atlanta Falcons, and for the second year in a row, the team has finished with a record of 8-9. While the Falcons did end up in a three-way tie with the Panthers and the Buccaneers, their earlier losses caused them to finish third in the NFC South.
Team owner Arthur Blank fired head coach Raheem Morris and general manager Terry Fontenot following Sunday's win over the Saints. The Falcons' four-game winning streak wasn't enough for Morris or Fontenot to retain their jobs, but the team's third-place finish earned Atlanta the division's third-place schedule in 2026.
