Five players missed practice Thursday for the Eagles, who had already planned to use Week 18 as a chance to rest select starters. The biggest name, Jalen Carter, is on the injury report with a hip injury.
Carter (hip), linebacker Nakobe Dean (hamstring), tight end Dallas Goedert (knee), offensive tackle Lane Johnson (foot), outside linebacker Jaelan Phillips (ankle) were all non-participants.

Rookie linebacker Jihaad Campbell (back/shoulder) was a full participant. In contrast, rookie offensive tackle Cameron Williams has been removed from the injury report and is set to make his first NFL start.
Carter returned from a three-week absence last Sunday against the Buffalo Bills and registered a sack and a blocked extra point in the road win, earning a Special Teams Player of the Week award.
The Eagles held a walkthrough on New Year's Eve, so Wednesday's injury report was an estimation.
The team had previously announced that several starters would rest in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Commanders, allowing players to rest ahead of Wild Card Weekend. The Eagles are currently the No. 3 seed and can finish as high as No. 2, but only with a win on Sunday combined with a Chicago Bears loss to the Detroit Lions.
