Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward went into the sideline injury tent and later the locker room to be examined by the athletic training staff after a rushing touchdown on the Titans' opening drive against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Per an announcement in the press box, Ward has a shoulder injury and his return to the game is questionable. The injury in question is to Ward's right throwing shoulder.

Ward was favoring his shoulder coming off the field. He initially sat on the bench for a few seconds before the tent was raised and he went in for further examination. After a minute or two in the tent, Ward walked into the locker room under his own strength.
Ward has played every snap for the Titans on offense throughout his rookie season. The only other quarterback the Titans have on the active roster is Brandon Allen.
Cam Ward injury
Ward had to leave the game after lunging to score on a designed run play from inside the red zone. Ward rushed to the offense's right, following blockers toward the pylon and dove toward the end zone. He landed awkwardly on the ball and a Jaguars defender, bouncing into the end zone for the score.

He remained on the ground for a moment after the play but was able to get up under his own strength and walk toward the sideline. Ward hasn't dealt with any injury concerns across his rookie season, and with his start on Sunday became the first Titans quarterback since Ryan Tannehill in 2021 to start every game in a season.
