Buffalo Bills on wrong side of NFL history after loss to the Eagles

The Buffalo Bills will look back on the past half-decades worth of season with disappointment.

Even more so now with the NFL history the team has set.

On Sunday, the Bills (11-5) lost their Week 17 game against the Philadelphia Eagles in a crushing 13-12 final. The defeat set the milestone.

The loss moved the AFC East divisional title out of Buffalo and over to the New England Patriots.

While partly a streak the Bills can look back upon proudly, they won't when it relates to this part. Every other team a team has won their divisional crown five straight years, they have at least made one appearance in the Super Bowl.

Only the Bills managed to not make that happen.
