The Denver Broncos made five changes to their practice squad on Wednesday.
First, the team released center Joe Michalski and guard Nash Jones. After that, the Broncos signed center Michael Deiter, tight end Marcedes Lewis and offensive tackle Geron Christian.

Deiter (6-6, 315 pounds) entered the league as a third-round pick out of Wisconsin with the Miami Dolphins in 2019. After four years in Miami, he had stints with the Houston Texans and Washington Commanders. The 29-year-old center has 35 career starts on his resume.
Lewis and Christian were cut from the active roster on Monday and cleared waivers on Tuesday. Lewis, 41, has said this will be his final year in the NFL, and he'll hope to go on a deep run this postseason.
The Broncos poached Christian (6-5, 302 pounds) off the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad in November. The 29-year-old veteran originally entered the league with Washington as a third-round pick out of Louisville in 2018. He has spent time with eight NFL teams, starting 25 games. He'll give the team more depth at offensive tackle.
