Ahead of their wild-card matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Houston Texans elevated one defensive lineman and waived another several hours before Monday’s contest.
The Texans elevated defensive tackle Leki Fotu from their practice squad and waived defensive end Darrell Taylor. Additionally, Houston activated rookie safety Jaylen Reed off injured reserve.
Selected by the Arizona Cardinals with the 114th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Fotu appeared in 66 games and made 26 starts in his six-year NFL career, including stints with the New York Jets and Las Vegas Raiders before signing with the Texans in 2025.
