The Denver Broncos have 11 players on injured reserve going into the NFL playoffs.

The team's potential list of candidates to return from IR includes center Luke Wattenberg (shoulder), linebacker Drew Sanders (foot), tight end Lucas Krull (foot) and running back J.K. Dobbins (foot).

Meanwhile, the Broncos have four players -- fullback Michael Burton, guard/center Nick Gargiulo, pass rusher Johnny Walker and defensive end Matt Henningsen -- on season-ending IR. They are not eligible to play again this season after landing on IR before the initial 53-man roster was set in August.

NFL teams are allowed to bring back two players from IR during the NFL playoffs. Dobbins and Wattenberg appear to be the most likely candidates for Denver, but the Broncos would have to reach the AFC Championship game for either player to have a chance of returning this season.
