The New York Jets head into their 2025 NFL regular season finale with Brady Cook leading the way one more time under center.
Head coach Aaron Glenn made the starting quarterback announcement via video conference on Wednesday. Glenn was blunt but somewhat curious in explaining his decision ahead of the Jets (3-13) visiting the Buffalo Bills (11-5) on Sunday.

“I want to give him another chance to go out there and play," Glenn said.
Glenn added: “He gives us the best chance to win."
The latter was the interesting bit since the results with Cook have been poor. The rookie is winless in four starts with one touchdown and seven interceptions.
Cook naturally will be looking forward to the opportunity once again, which could be his final one in New York
“I’ve learned a lot from a quarterback perspective, from a leader perspective being on this team and starting games for the first time, and I’ve learned that it is still football,” Cook said.
