The Buffalo Bills are reportedly making an addition to their practice squad before the playoff game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

According to Aaron Wilson of Click2Houston.com, the Bills are signing former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Daryl Porter Jr.

Porter appeared in just one game with the Steelers this season, playing one snap on defense and three on special teams. Those are his only NFL snaps.

The signing of Porter gives the Bills more depth options in the wake of the injury to rookie cornerback Maxwell Hairston Jr., who has already been ruled out for the postseason contest against Jacksonville due to an ankle injury.

The Bills have labeled Hairston as week to week, so he could miss more than just one game, which is obviously bad news for Buffalo's defense.

Hairston got hurt in the Week 18 game against the New York Jets, which has drawn the ire of Bills fans who rightly think he shouldn't have been on the field.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott explained that Hairston was playing simply because the team didn't have another option at cornerback to replace him.

"Didn't have another corner to go to on the active roster," McDermott explained.

The Bills will take the field for their wild-card matchup against Jacksonville on Sunday, with kickoff set for 1 p.m. ET.
