Bemidji State's Kristin Farris honored in College Sports Communicators' 30 under 30

Jan. 1—Bemidji State's Kristin Farris was honored this month by College Sports Communicators as its 30 under 30 class of 2025, which recognizes outstanding sports media professionals across the country 29-years-old or younger.

Farris, the assistant director of athletic media relations at BSU, was highlighted for her efforts in improving the Beavers' social media content, which includes starting their TikTok account. The Beavers' increased social media presence has promoted student-athletes, something the CSC also recognized.

"Being named to CSC's 30 Under 30 is an incredible honor and a reflection of the mentors, colleagues and student-athletes who inspire me every day," Farris said in a release. "This recognition motivates me to continue elevating our student-athletes' stories and serving our campus community. Bemidji State Athletics have given me a home to grow, learn and tell stories that matter.

"I'm honored to represent BSU and excited to continue uplifting our programs, university and conference."
