The San Francisco 49ers will have a slew of injury question marks to answer ahead of their Week 18 showdown against the Seattle Seahawks.

San Francisco's Week 18 injury report featured five players who are officially questionable, including tight end George Kittle who was a limited participant in all three days of practice during the week.

Here's a look at some takeaways from the 49ers' injury report:

Will George Kittle play vs. the Seahawks?

Official listing: Questionable (ankle)

Kittle said he's intending to play against Seattle with a chance to punch San Francisco's ticket to the No. 1 seed in the NFC. He was a limited practice participant throughout the week after missing all of Week 17 with an ankle injury he suffered in the 49ers' Week 16 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Is Ricky Pearsall going to play in Week 18?

Official listing: Questionable (knee, ankle)

It's interesting that Pearsall is listed as questionable after playing a full workload in Week 17 and posting 85 yards on five catches. However, he was limited throughout the week in practice while nursing ankle and knee injuries he suffered in the 49ers' Week 15 win against the Tennessee Titans. He was out for Week 16 before suiting up against the Chicago Bears last week.

Is there any injury update on Trent Williams?

Official listing: Questionable (hamstring)

The good news here is that Williams wasn't officially ruled out. However, he was a non-participant throughout the week as he deals with the first hamstring injury of his career. Because it's a new injury there are some unanswerable questions about how his body will respond. The club also has to take into account his long-term health with the postseason looming.

Who else is on the 49ers Week 18 injury report?

  • DE Keion White (groin), Questionable

  • CB Upton Stout (concussion), Questionable

White left Sunday's game against Chicago with a groin issue and didn't participate in the first two practices of the week. His return as a limited participant Thursday is a good sign, but it's still unclear how much of a chance he has to suit up. White has become a key member of the 49ers' defensive front and losing him for a game would be a tough blow to an already struggling 49ers pass rush.

Stout was also banged up Sunday night. He had a concussion and was limited the first two days of practice before being upgraded to a full participant Thursday. Since he hasn't officially cleared the protocol, he's listed as questionable. If he can't go it would be Chase Lucas in the slot for the 49ers on Saturday night.

Is there a Christian McCaffrey update for Week 18?

There was great news on McCaffrey who was dealing with a back issue during the Bears game. He didn't practice Tuesday, was limited Wednesday and then was a full participant Thursday. He was not on the injury report and is good to go vs. Seattle.
