Zach Frazier says Ravens didn't want to tackle Steelers running backs

The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Baltimore Ravens in an AFC North classic in Week 18, with center Zach Frazier crediting the Black and Gold rushing attack on Sunday Night Football.

Speaking with reporters postgame, Frazier argued that the Ravens’ defense didn’t want to tackle Jaylen Warren, thanks to his physical running style.

“They did not want to tackle him,” Frazier said via Penn Live’s Nick Farabaugh. “He’s a tough runner, and so is [Kenneth Gainwell]. You love to see them break tackles. As an offensive lineman, it fires you up.”

In the Week 18 win over the Ravens, Warren rushed for 66 yards on 14 carries, with obvious signs of attrition wearing on Baltimore’s defense as it attempted to tackle him.

Warren, one of our many studs from our biggest winners and losers list for Week 18, will no doubt look to pick up where he left off against the Houston Texans on January 12, when the Steelers host their first playoff game since the 2020 season.
