The Wisconsin Badgers continued their hot streak in the transfer portal on Wednesday, as the program added sophomore transfer running back Bryan Jackson from USC. The 6-foot, 235-pound halfback from McKinney, TX, didn't see a ton of carries during his USC career, but he flashed real signs of potential during both the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Jackson had a solid outing in the Trojans' Music City Bowl matchup against Texas A&M in 2024, rushing for 66 yards on 16 carries, while scoring a touchdown en route to a bowl victory.
Jackson is slotted to be the second or third option at running back, most likely behind both Abu Sama III and Darrion Dupree. His ability to break tackles and accelerate made him popular with USC fans. That ability should translate to Wisconsin, as new running backs coach Jayden Everett reshapes his position group.

Expect Wisconsin to rely heavily on the ground game next season, especially after the additions of quarterback Colton Joseph, Sama, and now Jackson. Given how the offensive roster is shaping up, we could see shades of traditional Wisconsin football in 2026.
