Matteo Darmian has been in the pits since late September.
Indeed, the 36-year-old sustained a calf injury during Inter’s 3-0 home win over Slavia Prague in the Champions League.
However, he is on the verge of recovery and could start on the bench in tonight’s home league clash against Lecce.

With Denzel Dumfries unavailable for selection until late February, Chivu has recently had to rely heavily on Luis Henrique.
Yet, the Brazilian winger has failed to live up to the billing.
Despite making nine consecutive starts in all competitions, Henrique’s form is a far cry from his scintillating showings for Marseille last season.
Therefore, Darmian’s return cannot come soon enough.
