Could Kyler Kasper's story end where many Hawkeye fans hoped it had started all along?
Kasper, a 6-foot-6, 212-pound redshirt junior receiver at Oregon, is reportedly entering the NCAA transfer portal. ESPN's Max Olson was the first to report the news on Kasper.

Kasper out of Williams Field High School in Gilbert, Ariz., was a four-star signee when he inked with Oregon in its 2022 class over Iowa, Tennessee and Arizona among many others. Per 247Sports, Kasper was ranked as the nation's 150th player overall, as the No. 25 wide receiver and as the No. 3 player in Arizona.
Kasper's time in Eugene, Ore., was injury-riddled. The former Ducks receiver saw foot injuries end both his 2024 and 2025 seasons prematurely. Kasper played in just four games in 2025 before his latest foot injury required season-ending surgery.
During his time at Oregon, Kasper played in 23 games, catching six passes for 77 yards.

Kasper's father, Kevin, played wide receiver at Iowa from 1997-2000, where he was second-team All-Big Ten in 2000 and a team captain. Kasper was a sixth-round pick of the Denver Broncos in the 2001 NFL draft.
Kasper shares Iowa team records for receptions in a game (13 at Ohio State on Oct. 30, 1999) and receptions in a season (82, 2000). Kasper ranks fourth all-time in Iowa career receptions (157) and sixth in career receiving yards (1,974).
