Why are the Bills leaving Highmark Stadium?
It was time.
The Bills have lived in this stadium much longer than most NFL teams have.
In an era of building new stadiums, Buffalo was due.
The biggest news here was always that the Bills weren't leaving town, which was a concern at times over the last decade or two.

The Bills' new stadium will have much more than the current single tunnel to access the field.
It'll also have major improvements to the big-money ticket areas, like suites.
The move also gets the Bills away from a stadium that could encounter structural issues as it ages, and into an exciting new arena.
It does leave some memories behind for Bills Mafia, but that's how time moves forward.
