Oregon will be taking on the Texas Tech Raiders in the 2025 Orange Bowl, as the Ducks will be coming off their 51-34 first-round win over James Madison, while Texas Tech will be opening its playoff run after a first-round bye.

In a showdown between two of the biggest NIL spenders in college football, only one team will be able to advance to the Peach Bowl for the CFP semifinals, moving one step closer to a national championship.

Who will Oregon or Texas Tech play next?

Because the CFP does not reseed, the winner of the Oregon vs. Texas Tech game will play one of two teams: either Indiana or Alabama.

The two winners between Oregon vs. Texas Tech and Indiana vs. Alabama will meet in the Chic-Fil-A Peach Bowl, which will be at Mercedez-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

Should the Ducks and Hoosiers advance, there would be a Big Ten showdown in the CFP semifinals. If Indiana beats Alabama, that would also mean that either Oregon or Texas Tech would be tasked with handing the Hoosiers their first loss of the season, as they enter the CFP quarterfinals still unbeaten.
