While Philadelphia still finds itself in the postseason as the No. 3 seed, the Eagles have been a shell of their former selves a season ago.

The issue this season has not been the defense but the offense struggling to find its chemistry and rhythm. A.J. Brown has been at the forefront of headlines since the beginning of the season.

Despite the struggles and drama, the Eagles have one of the more talented rosters in the NFL. Combine that with championship experience, and there's always a chance to go on a postseason run.

The Eagles found out their first-round opponent in Week 18. The Sporting News breaks Philadelphia's Wild Card weekend matchup below.

If the Chicago Bears lost in Week 18 and the Eagles had won, Philadelphia would have claimed the No. 2 seed in the NFC conference.

That would have also resulted in them facing the Packers in the wild-card round of the playoffs, but it didn't come to fruition.

Seattle Seahawks

With their record and lead in the NFC, the furthest the Seahawks could have fallen after a Week 18 loss is No. 5. Seattle won, however, to earn the No. 1 seed.

This made it impossible for Seattle to match up against Philadelphia in the Wild Card regardless.

With the Bears winning the NFC North and their record, the furthest they could have fallen after a Week 18 loss was No. 3. Again, making it impossible for the Eagles to have played them in the opening round.
