It's the first time since the 2019 tournament that either the USA or Canada won't lift the trophy at the end of the final, and will be a long-awaited celebration no matter which nation wins. Sweden's most recent title came in 2012, and Czechia's in 2001 (as the Czech Republic).
The Swedes have been dominant in this year's tournament, the only team that hasn't lost a game. They were pushed to the limit by rival Finland in the semis, though, before advancing in a shootout.
Czechia, meanwhile, dropped its opener against Canada but has survived a series of tough tests since then, coming back around to beat the Canadians 6-4 in the semis.
Who will emerge triumphant from the final? Here's all you need to know to watch Sweden and Czechia battle in the World Juniors championship.
