Jacksonville was in complete control for most of the afternoon, especially after the Titans' rookie quarterback, Cam Ward, went down with a shoulder injury and never returned. The Jaguars also completed the sweep of the Titans on Sunday for the first second straight season.
With their win over Tennessee, the Jaguars finished with a 13-4 record and officially took home the AFC South.
AFC South standings
1. Jacksonville Jaguars (13-4)
2. Houston Texans (11-5)
3. Indianapolis Colts (8-8)
4. Tennessee Titans (3-14)
The Jaguars are AFC South champions for the first time since 2022. Though things did get interesting at the end due to the Texans' excellent play down the stretch, Jacksonville is the division winner and guaranteed at least one home playoff game.

Jacksonville took care of business against Tennessee and won the AFC South. However, there is still a chance Liam Coen's squad could be the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
Jaguars road to No. 1 seed
If the Denver Broncos fall to the Los Angeles Chargers and the New England Patriots lose to the Miami Dolphins in Week 18, the Jaguars will be the top seed in the AFC, which secures a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the postseason.
As of right now, Jacksonville is the No. 3 seed, which is the lowest they can finish. The Jaguars could move up to the No. 2 seed with a loss by the Broncos or Patriots.
