The Chicago Bears concluded the regular season the same way they started it with back-to-back losses, including Sunday's frustrating 19-16 defeat by the Detroit Lions.
Chicago trailed 16-0 heading into the fourth quarter, where in true Bears fashion, they came alive and orchestrated back-to-back scoring drives that included touchdowns from quarterback Caleb Williams to wide receiver Jahdae Walker and tight end Colston Loveland. But they couldn't make it three straight, which proved to be their downfall with the Lions going on to kick the game-winning field goal.

This loss comes on the heels of last week's rough 42-38 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in a shootout. It's not exactly the way the Bears would like to go into the playoffs. But head coach Ben Johnson had the perfect message for his team about putting the last two weeks behind them and focusing on the postseason.
"I let them know it's a new season," Johnson said. "So we're starting fresh right now. If we want to make the most out of this new season, we need to go on a four-game winning streak, which we've done twice already this year."
That starts next weekend when the Bears host the Green Bay Packers in the wild-card round of the playoffs. Chicago has an opportunity to make it two straight wins against Green Bay while earning their first win in what Johnson and company, as well as Bears fans, are hoping is a four-win run in the postseason.
Chicago has proven they are never out of a game. And there's little doubt that their wild-card matchup against Green Bay will likely come down to the wire once again. This time, it's up to the Bears to answer with a win.
