Western Kentucky RB transfer commits to Michigan State

4 days ago 1

Michigan State football is in the midst of a recruiting heater, rebuilding their roster through the transfer portal, building a quality roster for Pat Fitzgerald's first season in East Lansing. The Spartans have added another high value transfer to their offense. Western Kentucky running back transfer Marvis Parrish has made the decision to commit to Michigan State.

Parrish, a 5-foot-11 and 200 pounder from Valdosta, Georgia, is known as a speedster and should be the perfect compliment to Cam Edwards. As a redshirt freshman in 2025, Parrish ran the ball 106 times for 576 yards and a touchdown. He also added 36 catches for 203 yards and a touchdown in the passing game. A stellar 2025 earned him All-CUSA freshman honors, while also earningCUSA Freshman of the Week honors twice.

Michigan State beat out Iowa State and Washington State for the commitment. He will be bringing three years of eligibility with him to East Lansing.
