With the 2025-26 high school sports season ongoing, the El Paso Times will give readers a chance to vote to identify El Paso's top athletes.
This week, readers can vote for which El Paso Times' El Paso Children's Hospital high school girl athlete had the best performance in cross country and volleyball.

Here are the nominees:

Kylie Vega, Eastwood cross country. As a freshman, had top 10 finish at Class 6A state cross country meet.
Emily Orr, Franklin cross country. Signed with Texas Tech and qualified for Class 6A state cross country meet.
Ashlyn McMillan, Hanks cross country. Reached the Class 5A state cross country meet for the first time and committed to UTEP.
Giselle Gandara, Eastlake volleyball. Was named a MaxPreps Freshman All-American.
Genna Gandara, Eastlake volleyball. The three-year starter helped the Falcons reach the third round of the Class 6A playoffs and was named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State team.
Lyah Galford, Eastwood volleyball. Galford helped Eastwood to a share of the District 1-6A volleyball title and a playoff victory.
Zoeh Cereceres, Chapin volleyball. Finished with 501 kills and helped Huskies to District 1-5A title.
Samaire Muñoz, El Paso High volleyball. Finished the season with 566 kills.
