Vote for District 10 high school boys, girls wrestlers of the week

Voting is now open to determine the Erie Times-News District 10 high school boys and girls wrestlers of the week for Week 4.

These polls incorporate standout performances dating back to Dec. 21, 2025. Two weeks of holiday tournaments produced plenty of quality candidates.

Read biographical information on each candidate then vote in the polls below. Voting ends Jan. 7 at 5 p.m.

Previous boys' winners include Kael Kimmy of North East, Landen Hassel of Sharpsville and Mario Panighetti of Cathedral Prep. Previous girls winners include Sydney Heider of Reynolds and Charli Rea of Northwestern.

Boys nominees

Dan Duran, Fort LeBoeuf: His 215-pound championship helped LeBoeuf hold on for a team title at Meadville’s 47th annual Tool City tournament. The Bison beat Greenville by one point.

Chase Karenbauer, Grove City: Powerade champion at 114 pounds, his second career title at Canon-McMillan’s prestigious holiday tournament. Defeated the state’s top-ranked wrestler at this weight via 1-0 decision in the finals.

Parker Miller, Titusville: Awarded the Most Outstanding Wrestler award at Tool City tournament after an 8-5 victory by decision in the finals.

Owen Nickerson, Corry: Logged his 100th career win at Southmoreland, where he was runner-up at 285 pounds.

Logan Stewart, Reynolds: Earned his 100th career win at Powerade, where he placed seventh at 127 pounds. Strung together five consecutive wins to reach the medal stand after losing his first match. Solon Comet Classic champion at 126 pounds the week prior.

Girls nominees

Layla Colich, Sharpsville: Earned fifth-place Powerade finish at 106 pounds, earning her first medal at Canon-McMillan’s prestigious holiday tournament. Previously won the Hubbard Classic in Ohio at 105 pounds.

Abbie Darr, Warren: Helped Warren to a team championship at the Hubbard Classic with her individual championship at 190 pounds before placing third at Curwensville.

Finley Fourspring, Corry: Placed third at Powerade at 106 pounds, her only loss in the semifinals.

Cydney Rea, Northwestern: Powerade champion at 170 pounds, logging two pins, a technical fall and a victory by decision. Then won the same weight at Curwensville.

Daylee Watson, Conneaut: Fifth place at Powerade at 112 pounds after reaching the semifinals.

Chloe Zacherl, McDowell: Champion at 130 pounds at both Curwensville and Clearfield’s Lady Bison tournament.
