As the season has progressed, wide receiver Parker Washington has quickly become a pivotal member of the Jacksonville Jaguars' offense.
Early on in the year, Washington's role was relatively limited on offense. However, when he got an opportunity, he often took advantage, resulting in more playing time.

Washington has now put together back-to-back 100-yard receiving games. On the season, he's been a steady target in the passing game, catching 67% of his 79 passes for 760 yards with four touchdowns.
Of his 53 receptions, 34 have gone for a first down, according to PFF.
“All season he’s just done an awesome job with every opportunity he’s gotten and now you look at his role and what he’s been doing for our offense," Trevor Lawrence said of Washington. "It’s been huge.”
Beyond his production, Washington has the flexibility to line up at different wide receiver positions along the formation. He's also willing to do the dirty work that comes with playing wideout, which includes attacking the middle of the field.

Having those abilities at wideout is an important aspect of playing the receiver position in Liam Coen's offense. That presence expands his call sheet.
Along with his contributions on offense, Washington has also provided the Jaguars' return game with a boost. He is averaging 14.9 yards per punt return attempt with two touchdowns this season.
